The idea of flipping the classroom has become mainstream. But is it truly "flipping" or is it a shift in our roles? Technology today enables us to provide instruction and support in new ways. So why spend precious face-to-face time in the classroom "giving" content and information. By creating a brief presentation, teachers can present the concepts and explain strategies and details through asynchronous modes - a video presentation is video in format, but can include video of the teacher, a multimedia presentation, a dynamic presentation. Class time can then be used to interactive, engaging activities with and between students.
